3. Mai Tai
The classics will always be classic, like the Mai Tai. A cornerstone tropical drink, the Mai Tai blends two kinds of rum with lime, orange, and orgeat. Makes my mouth water just thinking about one. Whip one up yourself and put it in a smart lookin’ tiki glass. Be sure to tag us if you post it online!!!
Here’s how you do it. First, add everything but the dark rum to your shaker with ice. Second, shake it up and strain over fresh ice. Finally, float the dark rum over the top. Garnish and enjoy!
- 1.5 oz White rum
- 0.5 oz Fresh lime juice
- 0.5 oz Orange curaçao
- 0.5 oz Orgeat syrup
- 0.5 oz Dark rum

4. Strawberry Rum Slammer
What better way to add some flavor to an afternoon than with strawberries and rum? These two go together so well you will be slammin’ them down. Enjoy the Strawberry Rum Sammer tonight!
To make your own, start by adding all your ingredients to your shaker and shake with ice. Double strain if you don’t like the pulp. This version has the pulp in it still. I think it’s better that way but you might catch a seed or two between your teeth!

5. Dark & Stormy
Ginger beer is one of my favorite carbonated beverages. Mix it with some bitters and you have something special. Add the rum, and you got yourself a party. Mix up all three and enjoy a Dark and Stormy today!
To prepare, pour an iced-cold ginger beer over fresh ice (leaving room for rum). Dash your bitters and float the 2oz of dark rum on top. Great sipping cocktail!
