A FANTASTICALLY FRUITY EXPERIENCE.

The Sazerac is another favorite. One of the original cocktails, this one is a fantastic mix that is not only strong but tasty. Swap the sugar cube for a spoon of brown sugar for more complex flavors. We recommend 6 or more dashes of Peychaud’s bitters, but palates differ. Figure out your ideal balance. Mix one up and enjoy.

INGREDIENTS

1.5 oz Rye Whiskey
0.25 oz Absinthe
1 Spoon Brown Sugar
4+ Dashes Peychaud’s
Bitters

PROCEDURE

Chill coupe with ice and water. In a mixing glass; add sugar, bitters, and rye. Top with ice and stir to chill. Quickly empty coupe and coat with absinthe. Strain into coated coupe and serve. Garnish with orange peel.
